Saigon Marina IFC – Vietnam
Project Overview

Saigon Marina IFC – Vietnam

As the first completed core landmark of Ho Chi Minh City’s International Financial Center, Saigon Marina IFC represents a major step in Vietnam’s connection to the global economy. Rising along the Saigon River as one of the country’s tallest buildings, the tower required a lighting solution that could express its architectural stature after dark. YD ILLUMINATION delivered an integrated facade and landscape lighting system, giving the new “riverside pearl” a refined, dynamic, and recognizable nighttime presence.

  • Lighting Design Concept

Guided by the concept of elegance and prestige, the hotel lighting design does not simply cover the building with light. Instead, it follows the hotel’s facade structure, combining pixel light arrays with architectural lines to enhance facade layers, overall outlines, and visual rhythm. While preserving the hotel’s dignified character, the dynamic lighting effect gives the building a more modern, fashionable, and ceremonial nighttime image.

  • Product Application

YD ILLUMINATION supplied secondary-encapsulated Φ40 LED pixel lights for the project. With strong durability, stable performance, and flexible installation, the product is well suited for hotel facades and aluminum mesh structures. Combined with the building’s linear architecture, the pixel light array creates a continuous and refined visual expression across all four sides of the facade.

  • Installation Integration

The aluminum mesh structure of the hotel facade was well suited for aluminum track installation. This method improved fixture alignment and overall visual continuity while helping conceal cables and supporting infrastructure. It also reduced the visibility of exposed components, allowing the building to maintain a clean, elegant, and streamlined appearance during the day.

  • Control System & Lighting Effect

4.jpgThe project uses DMX512 digital RGB control to create diverse nighttime animation scenes through programmable lighting content. The system allows the hotel facade lighting to present different visual expressions for various times, events, and urban atmospheres. While reinforcing the architectural outline, the dynamic lighting effect expresses a fashionable, premium, and innovative urban hotel identity, enhancing both the building’s nighttime attraction and Tashkent’s city night scape.

  • Project Support & Delivery

3.jpgThe client had strict requirements for both project quality and delivery schedule, expecting design support, product supply, and onsite implementation assistance within a limited timeframe. YD ILLUMINATION responded quickly throughout the process, from factory discussions, requirement confirmation, and design development to product delivery and technical support. To support the construction schedule, the technical team arrived in Tashkent ahead of time to assist with tool preparation and provide onsite guidance for installation, wiring, and commissioning. With one-stop project service and timely response, the project was completed efficiently and smoothly.

  • Visual Effect & Urban Value

After completion, the hotel’s architectural outline became more distinctive, while dynamic lighting effects enhanced its modern character and nighttime recognition. The illuminated hotel facade works together with the surrounding park landscape, fountain water show, and plaza lighting to create a lively yet elegant urban night atmosphere. The project not only improves the hotel’s own image but also adds new vitality to Tashkent’s city night scape and enriches the visual experience of public space.
