From July 21 to July 22, 2017, the Forum on Promoting Tourism Development for the Lighting of Helping the Towns of 2017, sponsored by the Professional Committee of Outdoor Lighting of China Illuminating Society, was held in the exchange center of Xingu International Academic Conference in Qingdao. The meeting was chaired by Dean Li Guobin, secretary of the Outdoor Committee, and Dou Linping, secretary general of China Illuminating Society, delivered an opening speech. Yu Jiashou, president of Qingdao Jinghui Urban Lighting Design Institute, Zhao Jianping, director of outdoor committee, Li Guobin, deputy director and secretary general Wang Youjiang, Wang Lixiong, Yao Mengming, Dai Baolin and other business representatives attended the forum.

This Summit brought together the middle and upper units and enterprises of the LED industry from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Qingdao and other parts of the country to discuss the development of urban lighting manufacturers, design companies and engineering companies in the tourism economy in the new situation. YD Illumination invited as an event co-organizers to participate throughout the event, and demonstrated the point light source, linear lights, wall washer lights, high-power and other LED lighting series.

At the meeting, Steve Lau, deputy director of YD Institute of Intelligent Lighting, delivered a keynote speech entitled "The Relationship between the Consistency of LED Control Technology and the LED DOuble Protection". Deputy Director Steve Lau pointed out that urban lighting plays an crucial role in boosting of tourism economy. YD Interactive Control System enriches the expressiveness of the urban lighting environment. In combination with the case video, he introduces YD Sensor Interactive Control on its appplication in different projects. YD Sensor interactive control system equipped with the YD Double Protection LED lighting protection up to IP68, V-0 flame retardant grade, anti-UV grade 4-5, can be used outdoors in extreme environments a long time, and YD LED are lighted in DC-based, will not produce electro- chemical corrosion.

 In the lighting display area, participants can control the change of the screen lighting effect through simple body movements, and experience closely the fascinating and interesting light effect brought by the interactive control system of YD Illumination.

In closing ceremony, YD Illumination as a co-organizer, won the China Institute of lighting Outdoor Lighting Professional Committee awarded the honorary certificate.

The summit forum was a feast for knowledge of this field. Guests attending the conference said that urban lighting has greatly promoted the nighttime image in the city, but also pointed out that there are still some deficiencies in terms of artistry, social benefits and public participation. It requires the government, academia, industry and enterprises to make joint efforts to further optimize and balance the beneficial relationship between urban lighting and tourism economy.
